Are you interested in working more with OANP, but aren't sure how? We have some volunteer position vacancies that we are looking to fill! If you are interested in getting more experience in any of these areas, or you already have experience, consider volunteering! It's a fun, driven group of people and we accomplish a lot on behalf of NDs all over the state!

Membership Committee:

The OANP has a volunteer position available to serve on the Membership Committee. The role of the membership committee is to promote membership growth, assist in identifying new member benefits, and to develop strategies for member retention and recruitment. Expected time commitment is 2-3 hours a month. If you are interested, please email beth@oanp.org.

PAC Treasurer

OANP has a volunteer position available to serve as Treasurer of our political action committee (PAC) - Friends of Naturopathic Medicine. OANP's PAC raises funds and makes contributions to various legislative candidates who share in the vision of naturopathic medicine and can help advance our legislative efforts.

The PAC Treasurer is responsible for receiving and depositing checks, writing checks approved by our lobby team and legislative committee to donate to campaigns, accounting for all funds, and filing all reports on monies received and spent according to strict campaign finance laws and filing deadlines. Expected time commitment is only 2-3 hours per month, but attention to detail and a high level of organization is essential! Current PAC Treasurer Dr. Wendy Vannoy will provide training. If you are interested, please email beth@oanp.org.

Public Relations Committee

The OANP is revamping our public relations committee! We are working hard to create a volunteer committee that serves to promote OANP members, member constituents, the naturopathic profession, and the community at large. This committee will coordinate with the Legislative and Membership Committees. They may conduct campaigns approved by the Association or the Board of Directors for the education of the public concerning the merits of naturopathic medicine, and may help with fundraising efforts. Expected time commitment is 2-3 hours a month. If you are interested, please email beth@oanp.org.

MedTalk ND

We are looking for a person with a desire to help us coordinate our annual MedTalk series! This volunteer position handles speaker recruitment, CE submission, speaker logistics, and coordinates all event details with OANP. Expected time commitment is only 2-3 hours per month, but attention to detail and a high level of organization is essential! Current MedTalk ND, Dr. Wendy Vannoy will provide training. If you are interested, please email beth@oanp.org.
